I have chosen the track “My Honest Face” by Inhaler because there are a lot of intertextual references in it such as Elvis Presley and the Joker from Batman which will be really interesting to work with. There are also a lot of good beats where I can edit it well and make it look really stylish. The band is small and alternative and fits very well with the demographic of my video which is 16-25 year olds. 

  To whoever it may concern, I am an A level media student currently doing my coursework which is a 3 minute long music video and I would like to use the song ‘My honest Face’ by Inhaler.  COCOON - CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN   • Narrative: a boy goes into a mental hospital to the the girl he loves as she has been brainwashed however at the end the people at the mental hospital catch him and brainwash him as well • Shot   duration:   mostly   around   3   seconds long, longer at the start of the video however become much snappier towards the end. At the very beginning there is a continuous shot of 10 seconds. • Balance   of   performative and narrative elements: • Colour  scheme: underlying blue tones and dark when at the mental hospital however when there are  flashbacls  of the girl and the boy of how the used to be outside the hospital the  colours  are all much lighter. • Mise   en  scene: the boy and the girl have two costumes, 1 when   in   the   mental hospital   and   1   with the flashbacks. The girl is wearing yellow in the flashbacks and so much brighter...
